Harriet Rwosa is the founder of the Happy Girls Project which supplies handmade reusable sanitary pads to girls, as well as teaching them how to make their own. This ensures that Ugandan women and girls have safer, cleaner periods. She lives at Lake Bunyonyi, in Western Uganda with her two children where she works in a craft shop which is also owned by her organisation.
