Simran (they/them) is a writer, editor and community organiser based in East London. They work across disciplines in poetry, journalism, lyric essays and translation. Recent work includes an essay on mischief and liberation for trans people of colour in London sex spaces (for Skin Deep), a headline performance at Somerset House for Daytimers, and a workshop for the Barbican Conservatory, blending yoga, live sound and poetry. Other commissions and performances include The Independent, South Asian Heritage Month, Broccoli x Sony Music, Raze Collective and The World Transformed.
