Katherine Hearst is a writer, illustrator and filmmaker. She trained at the Royal College of Art and has since co-written and directed two animated films: Eddie and Frankie for which she was awarded funding from the Film and Television Charity and Arts Council England, and Outside the Box, for which she received funding from the BBC and BFIs Animation 2018 scheme and Arts Council England, and which was broadcast on BBC 4.
