Annette Pérez, also goes by @Hemispheria._ on Instagram, is an illustrator and activist based in Bogotá, Colombia. Creator of the digital project on IG, @Afronteradas regarding history and decolonial perspectives about race, gender, class, cultural phenomena and diaspora heritage. During the last year, she has worked as communication advisor for human rights advocates and victims of sexual violence of the armed conflict in Colombia. Currently, freelancing, as well as deepening her interest in the link between artistry and social consciousness. Passionate about poetry, spaces of dialogue and visual work. Hopeful about international solidarity and finding ways to keep savoring life.
