ALYA MOORO is a representative voice for her generation. She is passionate about changing assumptions and preconceptions about Middle Eastern women, and believes the time is perfect to be having these conversations. This is a time of radicalisation, Islamophobia and fear of the ‘other’. As such, it is becoming increasingly important to provide alternative narratives and for women living inside and outside the Middle East. This is a powerful time to be alive and is the perfect time to change the rhetoric.
