Sarah Michal Hamid (she/they) is a proud Punjabi, Kashmiri and Ashkenazi full spectrum doula, and future midwife. Their family is most recently from Sahiwal, Pakistan, where she first learned to dance in admiration of monsoon rains fracturing the cloak of summer humidity. She works at the National Institute for Reproductive Health in NYC, and sits on the leadership council of the Young Womxn of Colour 4 Reproductive Justice Collective at Advocates for Youth. They believe in a world where reproductive healthcare is accessible, safe, culturally comforting, and respectful for everyone, especially for people in the Global South. She loves to eat mangoes, read, paint, swim, sing ancestral songs, snuggle cats and collect earrings.
